Rotary Club of Clayton — Weekly Newsletter
Week of December 11, 2025
Recap from Last Week
Our club unanimously approved the new bylaws—thank you to all who participated in this important vote.
Immediately afterward, our Rotary “elves” sprang into action, assembling the decorations for this year’s Christmas parade float. They returned Saturday morning to complete the finishing touches, creating a festive and spirited display.
See our Facebook reel: https://www.facebook.
The float was then escorted along the parade route by Rotarians, Friends of Rotary, and 15 Interact Club members and 5 advisers from Rabun County High School and Tallulah Falls School. Volunteers handed out 1500 toothbrushes while Greg Presmanes entertained the crowd with lively holiday singing.
Our Youth Services Chair, Amy Hulett, said,” What a great Rotary Float! We may have lost our generator power but the Rotar’s real power comes from serving our community! Shout out to Susie Howard for all the work she put into this and Paige Coffey and family for “pulling us through””.
See our Facebook reel: https://www.facebook.
The float earned top honors for “Best Singer”—congratulations and many thanks to Greg for helping make this community outreach such a success!
