🔄 Recap from Last Week
Steve Cole came in and gave us a great update on the status of our Rabun County Schools.
- RCS continues to make great strides in reading and math at the elementary level.
- Our graduation rate at the high school remains high.
- Construction of the new instructional building is on track.
- The middle school will soon be getting some long-needed upgrades.

🎤 This Week’s Program
Our guest speaker will be Mikle South, PhD, Director of the Emory Autism Center and the Early Emory Center for Child Development.
Dr. South’s work focuses on mental health concerns in autism—including anxiety, depression, and suicide risk—and on improving diagnosis, especially for girls and women who are often identified later in life.
