Rotary Club of Clayton Weekly Newsletter
Week of Thursday, July 23rd, 2026
President’s Message
Every July, Rotary turns its attention to one of the oldest and most personal measures of a community’s wellbeing: the health of mothers and children. Rotary International addresses maternal and child health on a grand global scale through sustainable, community-based programs that focus on prevention, treatment, education, and empowerment.

Locally, the Rotary Club of Clayton and our 501c3 Foundation make a difference leading with compassion and purpose by supporting School Backpacks, First Impression Clothing Ministry, Richard’s Kids, Special Olympics and Food Bank Distribution & Weekend Lunch Programs. This next week, we will partner with the Health Department to support vaccine and dental screening efforts at the Rabun County Primary School. In addition, we have invited Place of Hope to share their mission and inform us of what is needed for women and children in our community to make a lasting impact.
