President’s Message
As we come to the close of July, the first month of the new Rotary year, we reflect that it opened Transition across the Global Rotary organization — Gavels changed hands, District and Club officers installed and planning initiated to prepare for the future year’s goals. For inspiration, Gerald Hulett shared key messaging and focus from our Rotary International and District Leadership. I have copied the slides and video below to share with those who were not at the lunch meeting on July 16^th.

Similarly, “charting our course” for the new year’s programs, service and socials is well underway as we set sail to Create A Lasting Impact. This new beginning and journey require “All Hands-on-Deck” in support of your leadership crew and their committees to accomplish our goals. Below you will find the committees from which you can choose to get on board and a link to fill out the preference of one or more! Signing up for a Rotary committee is about combining service, leadership, and networking in a supportive environment that helps you grow personally, professionally, and globally. It’s a chance to make a difference while building relationships, sharing & building your skills and making memories. We greatly appreciate members signing up promptly!

Service Above Self’
This week, we did not have an organized community service. However, our Rotary Club of Clayton Foundation provided two community Grants aligned to the July Area of Focus of Maternal and Child Health. Place of Hope—Picnic for a Purpose Sponsorship and F.A.I.T.H. back-to-school clothing drive for shelter children.
